An Aspiring Producer for Social Change

 

 

I was born in Miami, Florida on April 4, 1995. I developed a passion for films and filmmaking at the age of 10 when I was introduced to the South Korean film Memories of Murder. Since then, I look for any opportunities to go into filmmaking, taking up film internships at FIU and even majoring in Business - Marketing when no film school was available at my university in order to learn about the film industry so that I may one day become a film producer. I am continuing to work on various scripts about the Asian-American diaspora, a topic very dear to me because of my Filipino-American heritage, and I wish to bring our stories to the mainstream. As a producer, I hope to hire more Asian-Americans both in front of and behind the camera and start a production company dedicated to introducing more diversity into Hollywood.
